Kate Leppard is a registered art therapist, somatic coach, and guide for women on the path of deep healing and self-discovery. She weaves together psychology, clinical expertise, tantric yogic arts, and dreamwork to help women reconnect with their bodies, creativity, and inner wisdom.
An adjunct faculty member at Kutenai Art Therapy Institute, Kate has also taught at the postgraduate level for Toronto Art Therapy Institute and St. Stephen’s College. She has been offering therapy, supervision, and online courses since 2015. She is also a recommended therapist for the Somatic Institute for Women, specializing in nervous system health and embodied transformation. Kate is passionate about creating spaces where women feel seen and supported—whether through intimate women’s circles, virtual open studios, or immersive online programs. She mentors art therapists in building confidence in online work and offers one-on-one art therapy through www.kateleppard.com. With a background in using art for social change, Kate believes in the power of creativity to heal trauma and awaken new possibilities. She integrates over 26 years of meditation practice into her work, bringing deep presence and attunement to each session. Her approach is trauma-informed, insight-driven, and deeply somatic, integrating dreamwork to help clients access unconscious wisdom and navigate life transitions. She holds a postgraduate diploma from Kutenai Art Therapy Institute, a BA in Fine Art and History of Art from Goldsmiths University, and has trained in Tao Tantric practices and the feminine path of yoga. Kate’s work is a call to step into your fullest expression—through art, the body, dreams, and the wisdom that already lives within you. |
