As the nights draw in and the veil between worlds get thinner, there is an invitation and contemplation to connect with those we have lost or the parts of ourselves that are frightening or we might consider our shadow parts.

Halloween/Samhain and Day of the Dead all fall on the 31st October - 1st November. Each has a unique history and way of being celebrated in different corners of the world. I have chosen to focus on the healing or therapeutic aspects this time of year. And create a project for you that allows us to celebrate those we have lost or embrace our shadow sides more. You are welcome to share any project you work on this month in heART space and I'll love see your art, ideas and inspirations.
