Kate Leppard is a Kutenai Art therapy faculty member and registered art therapist (285-R-21), who has been practising both online and in person since 2015. She is passionate about dreamwork, women's groups, virtual open studios, creating social media communities, initiating, and delivering online courses, and offering one-to-one art therapy via www.kateleppard.com. She supports art therapists to find competence and confidence in online work through supervision, consultation, and groups. Kate has also specialised in working with marginalised people and their families to create a sense of belonging, heal traumas and transform lives through art making. She uses a combination of insight-oriented, trauma-informed, and somatic tools to support her clients. After spending 15 years using art as a tool for social change, Kate believes that art therapy is one of the most potent tools on the planet for creating change. She is passionate, conscientious, and positive. Kate is a holds a post-graduate diploma from Kutenai Art Therapy institute and a BA Hons in Fine Art and History of Art from Goldsmiths University, London. Kate also has a private practice in Nelson, BC. |
