Each week you will be given somatic tools to practise and be led in an art directive in the session. You will also have a chance to share about your process. The group is confidential and supportive. Members remain the same during the 4 week cycle. The course will start in April 2024. Options for days and timings are selected when you sign up. Please indicate on the form if the timing options don't work for you as I may run a second group. |

Somatics comes from the greek word Soma, which means the body. This work is the ability to sense inside ourselves. Sometimes its referred to as felt sense.
Its our capacity to be present to our emotions, sensations and different body states. We might use body awareness, breath, touch, sound and movement to commune with our inner worlds and make sense of what is often minimized or ignored. |
